The IAAP sits on a 20,000 acres land area in Des Moines County, Iowa. The plant was established in 1940 and production began in 1941. It is responsible for research, development, production, testing, inspection and assembly of a variety of munitions and high explosive components for the United States Department of Defense. The plant also carries out demilitarization of ammunition, armament retooling and manufacturing support. While ammunition production still goes on as part of the current activities on the plant, there are a host of other events and social activities.

Methods of Transportation

Open air

This is the most common means of transporting automobiles on land, seven out of ten car movers that you see on highways are of this type. These trailers are usually 75 feet long, and they have double tires on each wheel. This method of transportation offers minimum protection to your vehicles and are comparatively cheap.

Enclosed

Aside from the fact that it is expensive than open air, it gives good benefit-to-cost ratio to the private owner of vehicles such as classic cars, luxury, and sports cars.

Delivery Methods

Terminal-to-terminal

Vehicles are brought to our terminals by their owners and we transport it to the new location where it can be retrieved, based on the mandate given to us by the customer.
